Les Solanes

The southern vineyard

Les Solanes is an area of El Molar, at the southern limit of the Priorat DOQ appe-llation. It is the southernmost slate vineyard in the estate; it is also the sunniest and warmest. The terraced vines have all they need to produce great quality grapes with the right yields. Their expressive character is the essence of our wines, bearing the identity of Priorat.

Location:

in the southern end of the appellation.

Altitude:

50-180 metres.

Orientation:

mostly west- and south-facing.

Varieties:

55% Garnacha, 30% Samsó, 5% White Garnacha, 10% Others.

Age of the vines:

10 to 60 years old.
